Grant to help Rust College expand entrepreneurship programming

HOLLY SPRINGS – Rust College is among six Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) receiving grant funding to expand entrepreneurship programming for students and residents of the local community.

The Delta Regional Authority and partner Allen Entrepreneurial Institute are providing funding to these colleges and universities in the Delta region to advance entrepreneurship among their students and grow the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through the inaugural HBCU Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Initiative.

The initiative is designed to help each institution expand programming opportunities and support services for their student populations engaging HBCU leaders, community leaders, student and local community entrepreneurs in a series of activities that support the growth of minority-owned businesses on college campuses and the communities they serve in the Delta region.
